Love Love #8 – the post Factory issue – is now in the making!

Since Love Love’s own mentor and main collaborator is the Factory’s own Gerard Malanga, it is only natural for us to take a look back at the legendary Pop Art era and talk to the artists who were there at the time and who are still very much influencing artists today. Through the lens of pop we are creating an issue full of art from the Factory and onwards. We call it the post Factory issue!

How have artists today been influenced by the work of Andy Warhol and Gerard Malanga, by icons such as Edie Sedgwick, music producer legends like Danny Fields (Ramones, Iggy and The Stooges), musical geniuses like John Cale, Nico and Jonathan Richman, photo extravaganzas like Billy Name and Dustin Pittman and many many more. Is there an equivalent to this golden silver era of explosive, inevitable pop art today? We are looking for those new avant-garde artists too, to publish them and shine light on their art. Many new talents are discovered already!

Love Love #8 – the post Factory issue – will be published July 4th 2024. A pre-sale/crowdfunding will soon open. The we will launch in Paris, London and later on in New York. Stay tuned for it!

Love Love magazine was imagined & created by Lisa Marie Järlborn in 2019. Lisa Marie is editor in chief & sole producer of Love Love.

Gerard Malanga is Lisa Marie’s Love Love inspirational mentor and the most prolific contributor to each issue. Malanga is a photographer, poet, film-maker Warhol Factory Superstar, The Velvet Underground choreographer & Interview magazine co-creator. He has recently been knighted in France as Chevalier of Arts & Letters, in 2023.

LOVE LOVE is about keeping up the art magazine making & independent publishing. It joins together artists of all kinds, ages & backgrounds. It is avant-garde & challenges the codes of mainstream media. It brings people together both in mind & body & therefore great emphasis is put on exhibiting our Love Lovers’ art, poetry & music through events and exhibitions.
