In August 2022 we invited you all to a Love Love afternoon and evening in at TwoSeven Inc. in East Williamsburg with inspirational mentor Gerard Malanga, Warhol superstar, legendary photographer and immortal poet.
Gerard gave a fabulous poetry reading, chatted with the audience & showed his film ‘Notebooks’ with footage from himself & Barbara Rubin from the Factory years with Bob Dylan, Andy Warhol, Edie Sedgwick, Salvador Dali, Donovan, Jane Fonda, Roger Vadim, The Velvet Underground & many more.
 
In the evening we enjoyed more readings and performances by Love Lovers such as Nicca Ray, Devin Brahja Waldman, No Land, Oliver Tompkins Ray, Ryan Drag, Peter Carlaftes & Kat Georges from Three Rooms Press.
 
On the walls were exhibited all the promotional covers for Love Love created by editor Lisa Marie Järlborn from 2019 to 2022, never before on display, including images of and from most contributors. The exhibition and event took place in a beautiful old red brick factory building in east Williamsburg, at the headquarters of TwoSeven Inc. This old factory building fitted perfectly to host a Factory superstar such as Gerard Malanga. As you got out of the elevator, an old lit up sign with a large arrow showed the way to the event and exhibition.

LOVE LOVE magazine is an independent print magazine based in Paris. It brings together textual and visual artists from around the world for a creative explosion of new visions in poetry, photography, illustration, collage art and music in a bi-annual publication.

The magazine is mainly in English, but features French texts and translations. It’s main collaborator and patron is Gerard Malanga, poet and photographer, first assistant to Andy Warhol, actor in his films and choreographer of Velvet Underground. It’s editor in chief is Lisa Marie Järlborn, Swedish born illustrator, graphic designer, translator & film maker.
